Course Overview

Our A1 Fast-Track Intensive courses are designed for motivated beginners who want to make fast progress in German. You will attend 5 hours of live online classes every weekend in one intensive block (either Saturday or Sunday).

While the live lessons take place on the weekend, we expect students to dedicate time for self-study and practice on weekdays. Consistent daily practice is essential to achieve good results in this intensive format.

Important: This is an intensive course. In addition to the weekend lessons, regular self-study and homework during the week are expected.

What You Will Learn

By the end of this course you will be able to:

  • Understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic sentences in German
  • Introduce yourself and others and confidently ask and answer questions about personal details
  • Communicate in simple everyday situations when the other person speaks slowly and clearly
  • Understand short, simple texts such as signs, emails, forms, messages and notices
  • Fill in simple forms and write short personal messages in German
